Who is Windflower Native Plant Nursery?
Terry Divoky is the owner and operator of Windflower Native Plant Nursery. She collects the seed, propagates and grows the plants, as well as and runs the greenhouse and nursery. She has a wonderful, supportive husband and great friends who offer a helping hand during transplanting season, but basically this is a one-woman show.
Terry is a self-taught plant enthusiast (amateur botanist). Education and the preservation of our native flora has lead her to develop and teach numerous wildflower and native plants workshops, classes and programs to children and adults. Terry also served as president of the Flathead Chapter of the Montana Native Plant Society and is a recently retired public school teacher-librarian.

Maria Mantas,created Stillwater Native Plant Nursery, in 2001. In 2002 she took Terry on as her partner with Terry renaming the nursery, Windflower Native Plant Nursery. Maria left the business in 2003. An expert on rare plants and an amazing plant photographer Maria now works for The Nature Conservancy of Montana. Terry is greatly indebted to Maria for the knowledge and opportunity she passed onto her.

A I pride myself in propagating all of the plants I sell from seed or cuttings collected ethically from the wild. I sell only well-rooted specimens assuring you a vigorous plant.
